My suggestion for a next step in investigating this is to add a
"transaction amount" column to your table above. As we have just
discussed in another topic, the price in a stock transaction is of
secondary importance, and often the price reported by the brokerage is
an approximation. What is primary is the amount of money you actually
paid, and the number of shares you actually received.
The sum of all the transaction amounts should equal the stocks total
value in the brokerage account. If it doesn't, then look for why.
Second suggestion is to clarify where you are reading "Stocks total
value". Is this perhaps in a report, where it is affected by changes in
the market price for the stocks after you bought them. If so, then of
course it will vary as the market prices vary.
