Appreciate your help

How are you planning on moving ALL of your user data to the new machine? Is the new machine under the same OS as the old one?

In the simplest situation, same OS, and you choose to use the same user name. The the directory (file folder) for your user name would beĀ  the same as on the old machine. You might simply connect an external USB drive and copy that directory to it. Then take that USB drive to the new machine and (after having created your user log in) copy from the USB drive to replace the user name directory. Then ALL your user data has been copied over (into the same path). Among that user data would be your gnucash data.

NOW --- if not the same OS or if for some reason you insist on calling yourself something different on the new machine, ask what you have to do differently.
