Yahoo's new changes are fixated on the value of the user agent header being passed. The quick fix is to replace line 48 of YahooJSON.pm module of the latest version from:

Someone worked out a patch for the original problem 2 years or so back which involves setting a crumb, but obviously Yahoo has again changed something and it doesn't work anymore.
