The Since Last Run assistant requires that every variable appearing in it's list of transactions that are ready to be processed must have a value assigned in the first step before it will proceed to the step where the transactions are entered. One way to avoid entering values before you are ready is to set a transaction to "Remind in Advance", then the SLR will skip the transaction until you change it's status to "To Create" in the first step, where it will then ask for the value. There have been a few enhancement requests to make the process more flexible, but so far the only significant enhancement to be implemented was recently in the release 5.x series where the SLR now only shows transactions which it will enter or which the time for "Remind in Advance" has arrived, hiding transactions that will not be entered.
