Hi, I have the following situation.
User "A" was making all the entries into GnuCash, but on a certain date stopped using GNC. I will call teh data file *GNC-A*. User "B" took the GnuCash data file (GNC-A) from user "A" and using a different computer making some changes to the data (corrections) and created new reports. That worked very well. The resulting GND data file I will call *GNC-B. * Unfortunately user "A" then restarted to enter transactions on the GNC-A data file. I will call that file *GNC-A-plus * So, I have two GNC data files with different data. My idea is 1. to take the log files created when user "A" was entering into the data file GNC-A-plus (there are 23 .log files) 2. import them into the data file GNC-B 3. to create a GNC data file that has everything. But GnuCash will not import the GNC-A-plus log files into GNC-B Is the process that I am trying to use logically valid? Am I making a mistake? Or can the log files not be used in this way? I am using GNC v 4.8 Best, Eric _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list gnucash-user@gnucash.org To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
