Here’s what I experienced: I downloaded my credit card statement (QIF) from the bank. I imported it into GnuCash. As usual, there were some items that were not yet assigned to expense accounts. I assigned one to “Expenses: dining.” The next one also was a dining expense so I clicked on that again. It went back to the Expenses drop down menu, but this time when I clicked on “Expenses: dining” (which was still highlighted from the previous time) it didn’t do anything except go back to the downloaded list. I tried again; same thing. I found that I had to collapse the drop-down menu and re-click on Expenses: dining to get it to do what I needed. I’ve never had that problem before. Is this a bug? If so, has it already been reported?
