Sorry, but that does not work for me. I am in the XCD account. I enter all amounts as if they were the XCD amounts on the receipt. So, I enter 108.32, 90.02, and 18.30. Based upon what I see in the splits, the 108.32 is done as USD, not XCD. Also, the credit card is done as USD, not XCD. When I click on Enter, an Imbalance-XCD split appears. Using Jump on the splits, the 108.32 and 90.02 were done as USD. It appears one needs to know the currency of the other accounts and enter the amounts in that currency.
If I do it as two separate transactions in the XCD account, I can enter getting 90.02 from the credit card as first and spending 108.32 on groceries as second. That way, I do not need to know the USD amounts On Mon, Nov 25, 2024 at 8:31 PM Murugan Mariappan < m.muruganan...@hotmail.com> wrote: > Fred > > Apologies for the miscalculation of 36.16. > Regarding your request to enter the expenses without knowing the USD > amount, the transactions should be recorded in XCD.
