Barry,

One thing that hasn't been mentioned is that while the reconciliation
window is still open you can mak any necessary corrections in any
account register without first closing the reconciliation window. Those
corrections are then added to the panes in the reconciliation window
automatically so for fairly minor corrections there is no need to
either postpone or cancel the reconciliation.
