Thank you so much Kalpesh for the reply.

I tried exporting and then importing, but that didn't work for me. I guess I did something wrong, and I ended up with lots of transactions with no values in them at all.

In the end I selected a transaction in the from account, "Jumped" to the other account/category, and then changed the account to the new to account.

There were only about 30 transactions, and in the end it took less time than the amount of time I spent working on the Export/Input technique.

Once again, Thanks

With that out of the way, I sounds like that the asking person wants to
experiment something within the account. In that case, it is rather going to be
best by making a copy of the file somewhere else. Then restore it back if you
don’t like the result after the experiment or experiment with the copy of the
file and then overwrite original if results looks good.

Is it possible to duplicate an account?
Sounds like an XY problem. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XY_problem
What are you trying to do?
Cool! I saw this phenomenon frequently in my days in software tech support, but
I never knew it had a name. Thanks!
