Finbar — Please always copy the list so there is a trail for others to learn
from.

Copy the file into that folder. Then start GNUCash and the font should take
hold. GNUCash will look in that GNC_USERCONFIG_DIR for this customization —
will find it — and apply it so that your font should be what you want.

Hope that helps.

Hi Ken,

Thank yoou for providing something understandale in response to my
question about character sets in GC.

I have a question, I have reached the point where I have the folder from
GNC_USERCONFIG_DIR and now I am a little stumped, do I just add the
file you suggested to that directory, or what??

I am not illiterate in code, etc., having started my computing life in
dealing with the precursrs of Internet and persuading the telecom
operators to allow common mortals to use data files.....But the people
who wrote GC are from another world...

Thanks, Finbar
