I wouldn't go that far; the linux distros already build the necessary packages. GnuCash just doesn't /require/ them. > If I > wish to use a database backend, I will likely need to compile a GnuCash > binary myself. No, you don't. E.g.: apt-get install libdbi-dbd-sqlite (or whatever driver package you want/need). > While this is not a significant problem for me, it would be > beneficial for others if this information were included on the download > page or in the documentation. I'm pretty sure this is documented somewhere, but I don't have time to look for it right now. > > Thank you once again for your support. > > Best regards, > Zsolt > Please remember to CC this list on all your replies. > You can do this by using Reply-To-List or Reply-All. -derek -- Derek Atkins 617-623-3745 de...@ihtfp.com www.ihtfp.com Computer and Internet Security Consultant _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list gnucash-user@gnucash.org To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
