The only way I know is to log into my Chase account, download transactions(I 
use QFX format), and then import into Gnucash. 

There are a few banks left ( I think) that allow DirectConnect access, but the 
number is dwindling.

The new protocol organizations specifically work to exclude open source 
efforts. I don’t expect any direct downloading to be possible for gnucash in 
the future.
