As noted, the document discusses this... the data is all stored in a single
file - you only need to copy it to the new computer. Settings and
customized reports are stored elsewhere, so you'll have to either copy
them over as well or (as I did) re-create them.

I don't know what you mean by "use Gnu Cash [sic] on-line"; I use GnuCash
on three different computers (iMac, Windows, Linux) - I have the data file
stored on a disk that can be seen by all three computers.  One must be very
careful not to run GnuCash simultaneously on the same data file.
