Hello John I uninstalled the GNU cash completely after saving my account files.
And then downloaded exe file again from sourceforge and reinstalled again. After reinstall, the problem and error message i reported earlier disappeared. I think some thing might have gone wrong during my earlier installation, though GNU cash showed successful installation. You can safely click "Open Anyway" in that case. If you get the entry point error again could you take a screenshot? I can't find any references to "xmllOFTPClose" in any of our dependencies nor does Google find it. I hope that's a leftover from 5.4.
