No, there was not an imbalance-GBP or similar. I've seen them before, but have always resorted to a backup without the error imbalance and sorted out the source of the error. Unposting the transaction, deleting it, posting it and paying it got the things to balance okay. I now have Debit: Expenses -> Stock £207.45 Credit: Assets -> Bank account £207.45 Trial balance matches debits and credit. Now I'm left with an unreconciled transaction. Should I change the reconciliation status of all those more recent to "n" rather than "y"? I have never deleted a reconciled transaction before.
