If there is no Finance-Quote-1.56_02-? directory in C:\Strawberry\cpan\build (-? could be -0, -1, -2, ... ) then download the package from CPAN first. C:> perl -MCPAN -e shell cpan> get BPSCHUCK/Finance-Quote-1.56_02.tar.gz Database was generated on Thu, 22 Jun 2023 17:25:12 GMT Checksum for C:\STRAWB~1\cpan\sources\authors\id\B\BP\BPSCHUCK\Finance-Quote-1.56_02.tar.gz ok Scanning cache C:\STRAWB~1\cpan\build for sizes DONE cpan> quit Once downloaded, there should be both C:\Strawberry\cpan\build\Finance-Quote-1.56_02.tar.gz and C:\Strawberry\cpan\build\Finance-Quote-1.56_02-0 Once you test using the the stockdump.pl example script, one can differentiate between an F::Q or Perl issue or a GnuCash issue.
