When I started Gnucash today (after doing a QIF import yesterday), I am getting a popup: The separator character ":" is used in one or more account names. This will result in unexpected behaviour. Either change the account names or choose another separator character. Below you will find the list of invalid account names: Tybor:TbLLC
In looking at the COA, I see that Tybor:TbLLC was added by Gnucash as a Trading account (which I assume resulted from the QIF import). In using the Security Editor, I see a Namespace of Tybor:TbLLC I assume that the Trading account name came from the Namespace name. If ":" is a problem, then it seems to me that I should not be allowed to create a Namespace name with a ":" in it.
