Hi Dave, there is a warning dialog box that you may have suppressed (somewhat inadvertently) I think it is along the lines of "warning: you are attepmting to change a reconciled transaction. Are You Sure?" with an option to never allow a change and never show the warning again. Have a tinker with Actions -> reset warnings.
