Steve, Adrien, thanks again. I think I shall have a look at hacking the source for the default invoice. It's important to me to keep my bookkeeper's life as easy as possible during this transition. Fortunately, we have a very simple business with very few clients, and virtually all the work is the same kind of service-based thing, so I should have no difficulty creating a build-specific default that "just works" for our needs. Then I'll wait till some of these RFEs are acted on and the world will continue to improve :)
As a side question, Adrien, you commented that one of my replies had been delayed. I notice there seem to be two distinct (although similar) email addresses for the list: gnucash-user@gnucash.org and gnucash-u...@lists.gnucash.org. Evidently they end up in the same place, but is one or other preferred?
