Thank you. My transactions were entered manually, so I don’t have a strict
numerical input. However, I was aiming to input them in order, and doubt
that they were not input in quite such a random way.

I am pretty sure that I used first to last.

I thought that GnuCash would either sensible defaults for numbers if none
were specified. Although I specified the starting invoice number, I didn’t
specify the bill number initially, as I have not associated a number with a
bill in the past. I noticed that the export had no bill number - I expected
it to start them at 1. I did later set the starting bill as 1000, but the
bills are exported in a random order too.

Opening balances are randomly distributed throughout the CVS file too -
they are not all at the top or bottom like I would have expected.

I hope that I can resolve this issue, as it’s a pretty important one.
