There's your problem. You're updating Homebrew's perl but GnuCash can't see 
that. gnc-fq-foo all have a shebang for /usr/bin/perl, so Homebrew must have 
corrupted your environment to circumvent that. Try creating a new user, 
switching to that user with fast user switching, and running gnc-fq-update from 
there. If that doesn't work try filing a bug with Homebrew: After all, they 
redistribute Gnucash.app in a cask so there's a reasonable expectation that 
they don't break it.
