Self introduction: I am Norbert Klein, a 88 year old German, living since 32 years in Cambodia.
Some years ago, I had been using GnuCash on a computer running under Ubuntu. Some months ago, I wanted to set up GnuCash again, this time on a computer using Windows - but before I could move ahead, I had a hard-disk failure and had to get a news hard-disk. Now I wanted to start again, Windows 10, GnuCash 4.11-1 setup downloaded, I accepted all suggestions during setup; at the end I saw the GnuCash icon on the desktop. I clicked on it, expecting some kind of initial GnuCash program – but I got only this: “Unsaved Book – GnuCash” Before I might make some mistakes, I rather ask. Any suggestions?
