I am not sure if this is still true for current releases, but for older
releases around release 3.8, if you click on View > Sort by.. then leave
Standard Order selected but click the Reverse Order box, the transactions
switch to descending order by date and the blue line disappears.  So that
would be the way to make it disappear.
