You don't need to 'select' an account before doing a search. (it has no bearing on the search at all)

Always conduct searches when viewing the main accounts tab, and if you want to specify accounts, do that in your search criteria.

Is this a feature, or a bug?

When I select assets then do a find search, I can find an item, "cart, poly strapping", being bought, and the cost of goods sold entry when it leaves inventory, but the AR account is also a sub account of assets and has the description on the invoice line item and the payment line item and they do not show.
