Hello, I am using gnucash 3.4-1 on Debian 10. And I am using mysql backend.
Every time I start gnucash, I have to type my password manually. This is very annoying, and as far as I can tell adds no real security. Is it possible to store the mysql password somewhere locally? If this is not possible, how could I hardcode the password into gnucash, and recompile ? I am fine with recompiling, I had to do it for other purpose anyway thank you _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list gnucash-user@gnucash.org To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user If you are using Nabble or Gmane, please see https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Mailing_Lists for more information. ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
