and for people with multiple books, how to easily store in separate
places for each book
Liz
I have (and have had) many different sets of books kept under gnucash.
For this reason, I am totally unclear what problem users seem to be having.
A set of books under gnucash is a file. When you create a file (not
specific to gnucash) you give it a name, possibly/usually including a
file extension indicating type, and specify a location for it (directory
aka file folder). For example, when you crate a new set of books, the
first "save" should be a "save as" and at that time you would get to
specify what you want for the name of this file and where you want it to be.
Is THAT the problem?
Are people saying that they have a problem with multiple books, storing
in multiple locations never doing this? Simply doing a "save" (that
first time) accepting the default name and default location? << these
would always be the same >>
