Hi Frank As I mentioned previously I am using GnuCash, the portable version, in windows and with your help I was able to very quickly migrate to V4.4 while keeping my older version intact. The nice thing about portable apps is one folder for each version. so copy one file and easy peasy I am up and running in V4.4. As I also mentioned I am migrating to Linux. I am still not far on the learning curve but am able to l use linux for 90% of my computing needs. On linux GnuCash is installed as a flapack, unfortunately that choice is least like portable apps compared to Snap or AppImage. Which means I can not figure out where to put my GnuCash file. Anny help with this would be much appreciated.
Thanks PS how do I let everybody else see this ‐‐‐‐‐‐‐ Original Message ‐‐‐‐‐‐‐ On Monday, January 18, 2021 5:06 PM, Frank H.
