I have a couple of cash accounts that I reconcile on a non-regular basis. (not once per month, week, etc.) I do this against saved paper receipts, using the cash-on-hand as an ending balance. (so no bank statement)

Occasionally, I have to make balancing entries to complete the reconciliation. (Charged to Expenses:Miscellaneous:Balancing) I then review this expense account periodically to see if I perhaps can remove those transactions due to finding receipts or otherwise having made corrections, that I didn't realize at the time, required adjusting or deleting the balancing entries. (or even leaving them and reversing for the pedantic out there)

I noticed some of my more recent balancing entries contain a Note of what the cash-on-hand 'ending' balance was at the time. Further examination of the relevant accounts, shows the balance no longer at that amount as of that balancing transaction. (meaning I've entered missing transactions somewhere or made other correcting entries earlier in the register)

I'd like to clean those up, but I don't have such notes for older balancing entries. (perhaps a previous discussion here prompted me to start keeping those Notes? I can't seem to find that thread though.)

I tried the Reconciliation Report, but it isn't quite getting me what I'm after.

I'd like to see a list of reconciliations performed, by date, with the ending balance to which the account was reconciled. (or enough info to be able to determine it)

Perhaps this doesn't exist, which is why I started putting the Notes in.

If anyone knows of such a beast, please advise.

*I'm not scared to delve into the data file if the info is there, but just not exposed in the UI. Just kindly point me in the right direction. (I'm using SQLite backend)

Thanks in advance!

Adrien
