Ah, yes. ISTR that AlphaVantage is used for all currency conversions. That would suggest that users should be told that outright somewhere.

When running Get Quotes on a brand new default database with no securities defined, and then after adding just one security for this mutual fund, in both cases I was prompted to enter an AlphaVantage API key - see attached screenshots. I believe this behaviour is because I set up the database with a currency code of INR, as when I do the same with USD the error message doesn't manifest. Anyway, for this particular issue, the root cause was the failed installation of the supporting perl modules. Have a good day.
