I'm also seeing only 6.5 tabs in 14 register lines with Windows 10 and GC version 3.5, whereas the tabs in version 2.6.21 were significantly smaller and more convenient to use. I've looked at the possibility of editing the css settings as described in the GTK3 wiki page but don't appear to have the relevant files on my computer (the css folder is empty).
