I got this error using both Gnucash 2.6.19 and 3.6 on Linux Mint 19 with libofx7 from the Ubuntu repositories.
I have been using Gnucash for many years, and this is the first time I've ever had trouble with American Express. Actually aqbanking couldn't communicate with american express for the first time, I got the error: Status for transaction statement request: Account not found (Code 2003, severity "ERROR") But that's not what I'm writing about. I logged into the website and downloaded the QFX file, but could not import it. I get the following error. LibOFX INFO: libofx_proc_file(): File format not specified, autodetecting...
