Hello, I’m a longtime user on the Mac, now transitioning over to a PC.
I copied over my various settings files (alas! Account colors are not among these!) and saved reports files. Gnucash fires up, loads my data, and the “Saved reports configurations” are listed. However, when I try to run one of these reports, I get the following odd error: “This report was saved using a later version of GnuCash. One of the newer multifunction options ‘7’ is not available, fallback to option ‘2’.” This error repeats numerous times (I lost count), after which the report loads. I have no idea which option was using ‘7’, and I do not know what fallback option ‘2’ is. Interestingly, the windows version in which this error occurs is 3.5. The Mac version I had previously was (I believe) 3.4. So, I have a difficult time understanding how this report can have been created in a *later* version of GnuCash. Any insight would be welcome. For fullest clarity, the custom report is based on the Asset Piechart report.
