Hi guys, I have an issue with how Gnucash fetches exchange rates. I made an entry on a particular date between two currencies and manually entered the FX rate in the price editor with the same date. However the system takes the latest date for the FX rate. How can I correct this to use only the given date?
I made an entry between an account in currency SAR and another account with the same currency on 18/03/2019. My locale currency is LKR. The FX rate on this day was SAR1 = LKR47. However prior to this I had an entry dated 21/03/2019 where the FX rate was @1:47. In the accounts page as well as any generated reports, it uses the latter rate for conversion to my locale currency. Any help on how to make it take the same date? I tried searching for this on the forum but could not find anything that solves this issue. Thanks in advance guys. -- Sent from: http://gnucash.1415818.n4.nabble.com/GnuCash-User-f1415819.html _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list gnucash-user@gnucash.org To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user If you are using Nabble or Gmane, please see https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Mailing_Lists for more information. ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
