Wm, What is incorrect or misleading about the Wiki backup page? It points out the necessity to have an adequate backup strategy in place outside the inbuilt backups which only protect against file write problems. It is really outside the scope of GnuCash to specify what that strategy should be. It will be dependent upon the users particular system and usage as to what will constitute an appropriate strategy and it is really a system manangement issue, not an application issue. There are plenty of sites which provide appropriate backup strategies that a user could use, e.g.
