Thank you Geert, For me it worked too in Windows with the same problems reported by Michael:
In the record we have dark background and black font making it difficult to read. The alternative is to use the "Use GnuCash Built-in color theme" record option. But that's better than without black theme, it's already in use! I did not notice a difference without this line: gtk-theme-name=Adwaita And with Adwaita-Slim everything goes white again.
