I am running Windows 10 Pro (x64) Version 1709 on my Lenovo M900 Think
Centre Desktop PC (16GB Ram) with all the latest windows updates applied.
I am having occasional trouble starting up GNU Cash. The GNU Cash
screen starts up minimized on my task bar instead of full screen but
will not enlarge to full screen when I select GNU cash from the task
bar. It blinks and I get my normal windows desktop. (but GNU Cash does
not enlarge to full screen) which renders the program unusable. Closing
and reopening the program doesn't help. Re-starting my PC also does not
solve the problem.
I have been using GNU Cash for about 3 years without difficulty until I
recently updated to version 3.0
This problem has occurred 3 times in the last 2 weeks. I have been able
to get around this by opening an older backup copy of my user data
file. Which makes me think the program is corrupting my user data file
(maybe).
Odd that this difficulty started after updating to version3.0 on or
around 5 April2018.
???
Any suggestions?
