I wonder if this is the result of a recent Windows update. I rarely print from GnuCash but after reading your message I tried to print from release 2.6.18 in Windows 7 and I get "An error occurred during this operation." I have 5 different printers set up on this computer and Libre Calc has no trouble selecting one of them and printing to it.
