I'm sure. I looked at the properties of the file and it is .gnucash. There are also two log files in the same folder that contain the last changes I made, so I know what they look like. I also created a new test file just to see what files should be present. The test file works fine there other doesn't, which also tells me it is something with this file and not the program.
