I'm on Debian testing and had just recently updated my system, to which
I get the message:
"There was an unknown error while retrieving the price quotes"
$ gnucash --debug
Found Finance::Quote version 1.38
$ gnucash -v
GnuCash 2.6.15
This copy was built from rev 1ef17e6+ on 2016-12-21.
$gnc-fq-dump -v yahoo GILD
No results found for stock GILD.
$ gnc-fq-dump morningstar GILD
Finance::Quote fields Gnucash uses:
symbol: GILD (deduced) <=== required
date: ** missing ** <=== recommended
currency: ** missing ** <=== required
last: <=\
nav: <=== one of these
price: <=/
timezone: <=== optional
** This stock quote cannot be used by GnuCash!
Any advice for a fix would be much appreciated.
