I will note, however, that what you are describing isn't technically "hanging", since the program continues to function. What you are observing is the time it takes to run that report. I have seen several reports (for example, the barchart report) that take minutes to run. This is, I have been told, a result of flawed report program logic. While it is certainly annoying, I haven't done anything about it, in large part because I am not a programmer. I believe I submitted a bug about the barchart report, since it is so painfully slow. I imagine that the line chart report uses similarly flawed logic.
