You can run the standard Transaction Report, choose options: Accounts/Accounts: click a parent account, click “Select Children”; ***don’t select any other accounts*** Sorting/Primary Key: account name Sorting/Primary Subtotal: true Sorting/Secondary Key: none This will give you the total for parent + subaccounts.
I don’t think there’s a facility to report on multiple levels of subtotals. Alternatively you can try: from the main account register, select the parent account, Edit>Open Subaccounts Then run Report>Account Report. This will give a running balance. But I’m not 100% sure this is meaningful.
