Pedro, I see the language-persistence problem. I'll have a look at that after I finish the release, no need for a bug report.
Although Linas fixed the SSL problem on www.gnucash.org <http://www.gnucash.org/> he hasn't yet fixed the update problem, so it's stuck in January. https://code.gnucash.org/website reflects the current website state. But there's a translation PR waiting including some of your changes. I'll merge that later today.
