Frank, I think those dummy entries can be removed, they were default entries in list stores so maybe in the past glade list stores needed them but I do not think so now but will check.
As for 'Type', in dialog-commodity.glade it is used twice which could be changed to 'N_amespace' and also change existing entry in dialog-price.glade to match so accelerator keys do not conflict. The second dialog is used when in the account tree and create a 'New Account' with 'Account Type' of 'Stock' and presses the 'Select...' button on 'Security/currency'.
