All you need is a csv file with four columns: Stock (i.e., ticker), Namespace (from Gnucash) , Date, Price
Follow the Importer prompts. I imagine you could figure out how to map your bank's file based on this. -------- Original Message -------- From: Thomas <tduellmann+gnucashde...@gmail.com> Sent: Sun Jan 16 16:19:38 EST 2022 To: gnucash-devel@gnucash.org Subject: [GNC-dev] Import of prices in CSV files Hello, I would like to use a custom (bank-provided) CSV-file containing the prices for some of my securities to fill the price database. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a good source of information to do that with GnuCash itself (yet). If there's a proper way to do so, I'd be grateful for any advice. If that is not possible out-of-the-box, I had a first draft for using the 'piecash' module for doing so (which seems not to handle the source definition of the price properly, and reports 'invalid' though). What I am looking for is either a recommended approach for this or maybe hints on how to make sure that I don't break anything with it and keep my book and overall data intact. Thanks a lot in advance!
