As I just mentioned in the gnucash-user list, GnuCash got bumped out of Debian on July 31st because it depends upon webkitgtk. I haven't seen any discussion about it on this list so I figured I would mention it.
I haven't been in touch with the maintainer, though it's the same person who has done it for years, and I presume he might have been in touch via IRC or somewhere.
