I'm inclined to tell them that we don't care what they do, we'd rather our 
users didn't use MacPorts anyway. I already commented on their bug [1] that we 
don't have the resources right now to do that rewrite.

I suspect you might have a different view, so I'll hold off on responding to 
their threat for a bit.
