If it’s optional so that both the with-time and no-time folks can be 
accommodated then no voting is needed.

The 1100Z change is already in master along with some other gnc-datetime 
changes, most notably a change from GDateTime to Boost::DateTime and a 
reimplementation of gnc-datetime’s core into C++11. You’ll want to review your 
changes accordingly. Note as well that I’m almost done with kvp-cleanup [1]. I 
hope to land it in the next week or so. It severely limits use of KVP from 
outside of QofInstance.
