Thank you. >From the trace it looks like your system is using libdbi 9.x. A patch was committed to the gnucash code in commit b122141a2cd1f5b1c68cb77090a9e43570c08fb5 specifically to make gnucash work with this version of libdbi. But it seems it's not working yet... I don't have libdbi 0.9.x available on my system so I can't do much to debug this further.
