Hi Geert, just some explanation why I chose those colors. They go well with the colors of the account lists :) The website looks like it's quite "old" from a design perspective. Therefore, I thought a new design would inspire some to overhaul the web design, too. As I understand the current situation right, there will be a new major release of GnuCash quite soon. This was the reason why I took the chance to start something new without overdesigning too much. Btw. I'm also working on a new iconset. Any idea where I find the other icons which aren't in the "pixmap" folder? Looks like GnuCash mixes OS icons with native ones!? Kind Regards. A new splash screen would be nice, but this one is not what I would choose. Tom, I find the splash screen well done in itself. However I'm missing some integration with the rest of the GnuCash brand style. The first thing that struck me for example is the choice of colours: mostly beige/yellow. However look at the GnuCash website for example: it uses various shades of purple/lilac. I would have gone into more detail, but your splash screen seems to have been removed in the meantime so I can't go back to refine my impression.
