Unofrtunately, no. What's more, it seems that accessing C library functions 
from Webkit's Javascript is not easy (Objective-C is another matter [1]). 
Google wrote their own Javascript engine [2] for Chrome to get around this 
limitation. There doesn't seem to be a way to embed Chrome into Gtk, so that 
won't help us, and Gtk MozEmbed didn't work out, so that's not a useful avenue 
either. Seems Javascript is a non-starter.
